And so, my adventure into the history of my video game collection continues! We’re still on 1994, and so far this year’s been pretty fun! And it looks likely that the fun continues, as this week we have the first Final Fantasy game, a classic from my childhood, and an inevitable Mega Drive Collection addition.

Welcome to the latest in my adventures in video game history, where I play every game I own in order of original release. Last week we reached 1994 with Sonic 3, and so this week we continue on from there. Seriously, 1994’s going to be a good year. I can sense it.

Clearing The Backlog: Chronological Game Challenge Pt 7

Oh hi, long time no see. I’ve been away for a few weeks since my last update on my challenge, but I’m sure you’re all dying to see where this goes next. Last time we did most of 1993, but I skipped a game because I was in the middle of it and wasn’t going to get close to finishing it before I went away, so I decided I’d finish it later.

So this week’s a little short on games, since I’ve mostly been focused on trying to finish Shining Force II, and then I only played one other game after that, but it’s a game that takes us neatly into 1994.

And seriously, I’m excited for 1994. You’ll see.
